~ Game of Skate Event! ~
PK is hosting a day of fun for the whole family! This event is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, September 28th from 1pm to 6pm (rain date TBD). Plans for the day include (so far...):~ 2 Sessions of Game of Skate - we hope, unless our players are so good one game goes on forever... (players are donation sponsored)
~ Paint a Board/Build a Board activity (buy a board and paint it and/or finish it into a skate board)
~ Paint a Planter Activity (buy a terracotta planter and paint it with mulberries! Great for the little kids!)
~ Music - local musicians performing under the music tent
~ Bake Sale - something yummy for everyone at the bake sale table
~ Hydration Station - water/beverages and snacks for sale
~ 100 Works of Art ~
PK is hosting this colorful event - date/time/place TBD - to primarily benefit this autumns building phase of the Permaculture Community Garden. The evening will include a silent auction of the artworks as well as refreshments.We hope to include prints of Ian Sharp's work in this auction! The monies received from these events will help pay for costs of PK Skate Park Renovation/Renewal Initiative and the PK Permaculture Community Garden Initiative.
