This past Tuesday evening we gathered our amazing forces and totally rocked the new look for the skate park...
Scraping...
Painting...
Putting designs on trash/recycle bins...
Painting them too...Thankfully, there was plenty of lemonade, bottled water and cookies and watermelon in the break area...Ekua kept us all hydrated and fed...
From the smallest...
to the tallest...
Our skaters...
and our families...
and our friends...
all worked so hard in the heat and the job got done in record time and with lots of fun, music and teamwork! Whadda ya think?...
We have so many great humans to thank for their help! We could not have done this without all of you!!
The Lion's Club - they paid for paint and supplies and provided the insurance we needed to do the job!
Mayor Michael Newhard and the Board of Trustees and our DPW for their continued help and support!
Paddock and Son Painting - thank you, Eric Paddock, for your expertise, guidance, help and hard work. After working all day painting you came to help us too...and your help with ordering the right paint and supplies was so appreciated!
